What’s this all about?
Hey, lovely ladies! This blog’s like that cozy chat over coffee (or wine, let’s be real) with your bestie who gets it. I’m no guru—just a gal trying to navigate this whirlwind of hiking trails, mom duties, and craving that self-care without losing our minds. I’m talkin’ to you, fellow queens of chaos, trying to simplify without sacrificing what matters. This is far from a perfect life playbook; it’s more like a messy, beautiful journey.
I’m all about making self-care a guilt-free-good-time, and streamlining life’s crazy twists. And hey, your thoughts? Gold. ‘Cause we’re a team, learning, laughing, and lifting each other up. Stick with me for some trailside wisdom, mom-life gripes, and legit self-care hacks. Let’s sprinkle a bit of simplicity in this wild ride and crank up the awesome!
So, who the hegg are you?

Hey there! My name is Tara Sullivan and I currently live in sunny San Diego, California – but I earned my stripes, ok? I grew up in Chicago, IL and lived in the Midwest until I was 24 when I decided that I wanted to see more! I moved to San Diego in 2015, and like most people who find themselves here, I decided to stay forever.

Cut to today: I am a single mom to two beautiful children, I work full time, and I’m learning more about myself while living on my own. Spinning so many plates is stressful, and every decision I make always comes at the cost of something equally important. “How do you do it all?”, everyone always asks me. “I don’t!” I always reply; It’s insane to think anyone can do it all. So, I think a better question is, “how do you keep it afloat?”, and that’s what I am doing here.

This blog? It’s my life diary, where I’m figuring things out and spillin’ the beans for you too. By day, I’m a VP at a digital marketing gig and have my kids 50/50 with their dads. Every recommendation here? Straight from the heart, no sponsored fluff—from backpacks to face wash, it’s all legit. I’m growing and stumbling, so feel free to drop a little nugget of advice for me, I read it all. Let’s grow together, yeah? The internet might not have needed another blog, but maybe it’s where we find our tribe.
